Statista reports that 85% of US adults use email. Consumers like getting emails from the brands they love. But email senders have to respect the inbox. Email too often, or include the wrong content, and Litmus says some people will report your email as spam instead of unsubscribing.
Chances are high that you click on an affiliate marketing link multiple times each week without even knowing it. If you’ve ever browsed one of your favorite websites and they referenced other products, there’s a good chance that they have an affiliate agreement with a merchant. 1. New vs. existing customers. New customers traditionally have higher lifetime value than existing ones. This is because every new customer grows your customer base. And once you own the customers, you pay less to convert them on future purchases. Customers who have purchased from you already know your product, value your service, and presumably trust you. It costs more to acquire a new customer because you have to build that credibility and trust.
The main difference between referral and affiliate marketing programs is that a referral program is a program where you're structuring it for your customers to refer people they know and an affiliate program is structured for people that have not used your product or service themselves to promote it to people they don't know in exchange for a commission.
The primary purpose of a transactional email is to convey information regarding the action that triggered it. But, due to their high open rates (51.3% compared to 36.6% for email newsletters), transactional emails are an opportunity to introduce or extend the email relationship with customers or subscribers; to anticipate and answer questions; or to cross-sell or up-sell products or services.
Of course, promoting SAN is optional but that is what almost every member does. After all, when you join a high-ticket membership program your primary objective is to sell their courses. Because that is how you can earn a lot of money. And their training focuses on how to drive traffic to your capture pages, attract leads and not so much about how to become an authority in your niche or how to find and sell products in any market you want.
