How established is your site/blog/social media following?  Do you already have an audience of 1 million or are you just getting started?  Early on in your affiliate marketing journey you will probably want to have multiple options to make sure you can cover a broad field. You might want to become an Amazon Associate as well as joining one of the networks so you will have a product link to drop into any posts you do.  An easy place to start is to promote the services you are using if you are enjoying their product - web hosting or email management systems like Aweber.
Once you join a network as a merchant, you will post your offer, and affiliates can begin requesting access to join your program. As another idea, maybe that IT company buys all of their office furniture from a local furniture store. Chances are high that the local shop also has customers who would be in need of IT services, so why not ask that local furniture store if they’d be interested in exploring another revenue stream? As long as it makes sense for both parties, there’s a conversation worth having.

Of course, promoting SAN is optional but that is what almost every member does. After all, when you join a high-ticket membership program your primary objective is to sell their courses. Because that is how you can earn a lot of money. And their training focuses on how to drive traffic to your capture pages, attract leads and not so much about how to become an authority in your niche or how to find and sell products in any market you want.

There is a reason why many major merchants prefer to utilize affiliate marketing networks instead of setting up their own infrastructure. And this is something, I don't know if it's something that's customary in that space that are selling organic super foods and a variety of different, kind of niche products that they have a distinctive presence online.

PPC advertising on popular search engines is another option that can help drum up some traffic to your website. There are a few rules when it comes to PPC, such as, you always need to have your own website to direct the traffic to and your website can’t just act as a ‘bridge page’ to the advertisers website. In some ways, trying to establish a direct affiliate marketing relationship with a merchant is a lot like trying to get an advertiser to run a campaign on your site.
