Affiliate networks offer you access to multiple (and by multiple, we mean hundreds if not thousands) of individual affiliate programs. They basically work by simplifying the signup process - instead of applying to become an affiliate for a each product you want to promote, you simply apply to join the network and instantly have access to hundreds of different affiliate offers.
First of all, BuzzFeed has awesome subject lines and preview text. They are always short and punchy -- which fits in perfectly with the rest of BuzzFeed's content. I especially love how the preview text will accompany the subject line. For example, if the subject line is a question, the preview text is the answer. Or if the subject line is a command (like the one below), the preview text seems like the next logical thought right after it:

Affiliate marketing allows practically anyone with a website to sell a whole range of products and services without worrying about maintaining an inventory, shipping products to customers or dealing with customer service issues. Adding social media "Like" or "Share" buttons to your marketing emails gives an additional way for customers to connect with your brand. Snippets of positive reviews from social media fans can be included in emails, and conversely, social media postings can be used to encourage fans to subscribe to your email newsletters.
Take time to understand the type of lead you are looking for. This will determine the type of partners you aim to work with. Is your audience a young mom researching ways to save money? Does the lead base you are trying to grow have a significant amount of disposable income?Being able to answer these questions will not only help segment the type of affiliates you partner with, they will also help structure the way your program creatives are set-up. Understanding your audience is also key to providing your affiliates with the best converting assets that will resonate with their readers.
So with e-commerce shopping carts, that's easy to do, but for service-based businesses, like I said like your company or a regular service company, let's say like a roofing company or a plumbing company. They truly do thrive on referrals, and word of mouth, because let's say you get your roof done and the roofer does a great job, your friends, your neighbors are obviously going to see that you just a new roof. So of course they're going to ask you, "Okay, who did your roof? How much did you pay?"

Significant emphasis must be put on quality partnership building. It may be tempting to let as many partners into your program as possible, however, leads should be evaluated for quality, not volume. You want to avoid running into the issue of letting just anyone into your lead gen campaign and then discover that their efforts aren’t brand-aligned or delivering the types of leads you want. Focusing on volume over quality negatively impacts two things: the experience your affiliates have and the conversion rate of your program.Having a few partners in your lead generation-focused affiliate program who drive high-value traffic at a steady volume is much better than dealing with fraudulent lead issues among partners each month.
